Take care of the living

As part of our CSR commitment, we set out five key pledges, one of which was to care for the living.
We had planned to install five beehives alongside a hedge of various species to protect the hives and the bees as they fly out.

It’s now a reality!

The beehives were installed in the spring, as was the hedge.
The hedge consists of Photinia, Arbutus unedo and Prunus laurocerasus ‘Caucasica’.

The Photinia has red foliage that turns a bright green; it forms a dense, evergreen hedge.
Arbutus unedo, also known as the strawberry tree, is an evergreen shrub that is particularly attractive for its autumn flowers, decorative fruits and natural appearance.
Prunus laurocerasus ‘Caucasica’ is particularly well-suited to forming a vigorous, evergreen hedge that provides good privacy. Its flowers are an ideal source of nectar for bees.
